Hi Mary,

Thanks for your comments. As one of my mentors in the company I work with says, "you cannot stop a man or woman who will not quit!"

All the best,

Alan

Hi Alan,
Great post. This is a topic I have been thinking about a lot in the last several months, especially since moving part of my business building activities online. I love that Jim Rohn quote you share; it is one of my favorites. I would much rather work part-time on my fortune!

Brian Tracy says that if you can find a great product or service to sell, one that makes me people happy and jump for joy, you will do well over time. Of course you have to learn how to sell, and since Network Marketing does involve selling, being with a company that offers consumers a great product or service is one key to overall long term success.

I agree that, in general, the books have the "formula" right (if there is such a formula). What you outline in part 1 of this post is indeed the series of steps most likely to lead to building a profitable business. The reality, however, for most people is a variation like the ones you shared after that one. In the end, the people who really want to win in Network Marketing will win because they will never give up until they do.

Informative and I like that you don't try and solve the age old question of which came first the chicken or the egg (which I don't think will ever be solved !) but you give a key thing to do whatever answer you come up with re: chicken and egg which is keep persisting!
